Let's get going with Kevin of Wizbang.
While it is probably safe to say that most men don't put anywhere near as much time in to preening as their female counter parts, a small investment of time and effort will pay huge dividends. While you aren't trying to look like David Beckham (really, who has the time and who wants their man to be prettier than them), you want women to smile at you when you walk by them on the street (read that as a casual smile, not throw their g-string and phone number at you), it will boost your ego and make you feel great.
As with Opinionista, if "the frame isa no good, the rest of won't be either". I was happy to hear from Kevin that he had shed a pile of weight since that TV appearance. Good for him. If the rest of you lazy bastards would show some initiative, maybe we would see start seeing TV shows that talk about "Satisfied Housewives". What ever you are doing, stick with, unless of course you weighted in at 400lbs and are now only down to 365lbs, but somehow I doubt that you were a 4 bagger.
Skin Care Regime
What do you mean your not gay? You don't need to be a gay guy to take care of your skin. Have you ever wondered why women love hanging out with gay guys..............it's cuz they take care of themselves, including their skin (They are easy on the eyes)!
We aren't talking about a major production here, just a couple of minutes in the morning and evening and you'll be glowing like Carson from Queer Eye. I have always been a fan of Keihls and since you are a guy, I want to make it simple for you to get all of your cleaning and shaving products from one source. I am going to start from the assumption that you have "normal" skin and don't frequently wear make up. Let me know if I am off course on this.
For the facial scrub, go with the Papaya Pineapple Facial Scrub. It smells good, but don't eat it (and don't let your kids eat it). Then go for the Blue Eagle Shave Cream. Speaking from experience (not on my face silly, my armpits) it is very gentle on the skin .
Other "Skin Care Experts", not dermatologists, but "Skin Care Experts" (not quite sure what they are), will try and sell you a whole bunch of other crap. Don't waste your money, most of it is useless (yes ladies, we do like fooling ourselves once in a while). You want a regime that you can actually follow. Unless of course you have hours of time to primp yourself every day, but I bet that isn't really you. Needless to say this does require you to use a non electric razor. If you happen to be using an electric one, 86 it and get a real blade. Remember to shave only after soaking your face in very warm water, this will minimize the little red bumps
A sensitive subject for men, especially if it is thinning and, unlike the woman whose breasts are starting to sag, there isn't really any practical way to hide it with a bra. Weaves and rugs are not an option...........whoever told balding men that they were should be arrested for fraud (or at least an aesthetic crime). Keep away from the drugs, we are exposed to enough chemicals already. You have to deal with it, and not with GLH9 or ProTHIK (spray paint is for graffiti, not your hair).
Keep your hair in a short buzz. Especially if you have lost a good amount of weight, you should be able to pull it off. While Bruce Willis has been lampooned for many things, he has gracefully lost his hair. But remember to pull of this rugged look, you need to look, uhm, rugged, even in a suit..........so keep up the exercising.
Up next..........underwear........dontcha dare miss it.
