Fashion Week Flack
Shoelover has gotten some email flack about choosing to relocate to the Dominican Republic during the Fall 2006 New York Fashion week rather than head off to New York during the week of Feb 3 to Feb 10, 2006.
Well the truth is (and I hope this doesn't void my employment contract with the organizing committee) that Shoelover is part of a stealth committee looking to organize Fall 2007 Punta Cana Fashion Week to be held the first week in February 2007 and is heading down to scope out the venues. While it is a sacrifice to have to miss Fall 2006 New York Fashion week it is a sacrifice that 
I am willing to make in order to make the Caribbean a more fashionable place. The things I do for love...........
For the record, the rest of the organizing committee is composed of :
- Galliano's better looking, yet unknown twin brother;
- Donatella Versace's lips - not the rest of the "original" her, just the lips. We had her plastic surgeons reconstruct them for this event. We are going to consider using them in the logo for the show, in an attempt to blatantly knock off the Rolling Stone's logo as the theme of the 2007 show will be "Knock Off's: What's the Diff?";
David and Jarnette Olsen, Parents of the Olsen twins; and rounding out the infamous committee of 5..........- Freddy Moore. Freddy Who? Freddy "I was a rock star (did someone change the definition of Rock Star while I was sleeping?) and Demi Moore' first husband, Freddy Moore" Oh, that Freddy Moore, why didn't you just say so. (she was 18, he was 34 - that's them in the pic)
