Shoe store reviews

  • David's shoe store - Toronto
A true shoe conoisseur never misses a chance to walk through David's on Bloor Street. Highlight: Their seasonal sales are a great time to stock up on fabulous buys. I scored a fabulous pair of Yves St. Laurent boots at one of their sales at half off the original $1000 ticket price. Drawback: You can sometimes find the same shoes elsehwere for a better price. That being said, David's service and insight is unparelled.

I think I am stubborn.

I love the idea of the shoe boxes, but I was watching the Denise Richards show just the other day and while her closet looked beautiful, she had NO IDEA where her shoes were. It was funny watching her talk to her dad and absentmindedly browse through her own shoes like they were alien to her. I like having the shoes in the boxes that I know, and maybe these are the words of a girl who can't afford the matching boxes, but I've grown fond of the random system I figured out, which is really just my boxes stacked in my closet and me recognizing each box for the shoe inside.
