It has been a rough week for Shoelover. Too much work and too little time to blog. Shoelover has decided that this is the week for a pick-me-up. I am going to splurge on a little something this week. Perhaps....some new shoes? Although the weather changes quickly here in Toronto, it's nothing short of depressing to see my favorite stores showcasing boots already. Sigh. I'm not ready to put away my sexy, open-toed kitten heels. Where does the time go....
But on to new adventures. Many labels are riffing on the cowgirl boot theme. Do I dare? I've also spotted some moccasin variations (hmm. perhaps I can get together with another shoelover and play cowgirl and Indian...;)
As I said, it has been one of those weeks so nothing less than a pair of Miu Miu's or Prada's will do. I'm even contemplating Manolo. That reminds of that one weekend, a couple of years ago, when I found myself leaving my fav shoe shore with a pair of Miu Miu's AND a pair of Manolo's. Naysayers begone: buying shoes (which make you look gorgeous) does heal all sorts of pain.
So Shoelover decided to peruse shoes online before entering my fav store and making my purchases. I see on the Neiman Marcus site that Manolo is carrying a sexy leopard print. Shoelover approves whole-heartedly. Dare to be different, girls. It takes a bit of guts to wear leopard print shoes but you can do it.
