Where has Shoelover Been?

Finishing the Summer 2006 Shoe Report.  Shoelover has been abusing Shoelover's feet and Shoelover's credit cards in search of the shoes that you should be wearing this summer.

Shoelover is still doing some testing/configuration of the download page but Shoelover doesn't mind you seeing the state of Shoelover's technological ineptitude and website innards.

Shoelover has been up to some heavy duty shoe research these past few weeks in preperation for the Summer Shoe report and thought it would be privelige for readers to see some of Shoelover's scriblings.

Lots of cross over's this summer.  Designers are mixing and matching various elements of traditional shoe structures in an attempt to circumvent the tired cliche of "everything old is new again".  It seems that every designer has decided that women need to be taller for the coming months and turned everything into a platform, platform pumps, platform wedges (Christian Lacroix's over there on the right) platform sandals, platform spikes, platform espadrilles and of course, the timeless and chic platform platforms (just kidding).  This is of course with the exception of Lacoste, who are trying to out-puma Puma with some of their low slung "athletic" shoes.
