No, that is not what Shoelover has in her closet, it is the estimated value of the shoes used in the film "In Her Shoes"
"We needed about 200 pairs to fill the closet, and you figure $500 a pair - well, you just can't go and spend $100,000 on shoes, so you do what you can," she said, adding that she and the film's set designers relied on costume rental companies as well as loans from designers like Chanel, Christian Louboutin and Sigerson Morrison. They had to content themselves with a lone screen credit. "A lot of people lent us stuff," Ms. Carbonell said, recalling the negotiations. " 'Can you promise us a mention in the film?' 'No.' 'Can you do a close-up on the box?' 'No.' "
Gathering $100,000 worth of shoes, could Sophie de Rakoff Carbonell, the costume designer for the flick, have a better job?
