It Begs the Question.............

were there any good figure skating costumes at the Turin Games?  Min from China here aptly demonstrates why Beijing Fashion Week is destined to be a backwater fashion faux pas for a while coming.

Elena Grushina and Ruslan Goncharov of Ukraine (not "The" Ukraine, much like it is Canada, not "The" Canada) model the costumes that George Lucas wished he had when filming the Star Wars series..........

This also had Shoelover wondering, wouldn't other Olympic sports be "better" if competitors had to wear costumes?   Tell me bobsledding wouldn't be much more entertaining if participants had to wear ornate head-dresses that had to stay affixed to their heads for the entire race.................
